Sowing instructions

  1. Fill a large pot (approximately 20cm diameter) or container with general purpose compost.

  1. Sugar beet seed pellets contain fungicides to protect against diseases while they are small and emerging. Wear gloves whilst handling them.
  1. Place two seeds per pot on the surface of the compost and using your gloved finger push the seeds approximately 1cm down into the compost.

  1. Cover the seeds with compost and gently press the compost down.

  1. Water well, but do not soak them.
